By accessing the Site or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of such child.

1. Description of Services

Grand Papa G provides high-quality, values-based children's publishing and EdTech resources, including:

  • Personalized Storybooks: Hand-crafted digital stories (such as "Fergus the Fish" and "Ocean Adventure") where a child's name is woven into the narrative, provided in PDF, Kindle, and Flipbook formats.

  • Mini-Flipbook Membership: A subscription-based service providing regular access to educational and creative digital flipbooks.

  • Bonus Content: Supplemental materials such as themed colouring pages and educational resources.

2. Personalized Stories & Intellectual Property

2.1 License (Personal Use): When you buy or access a personalized story (including PDFs, Kindle files, Flipbooks, and membership content), Grand Papa G grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use that content for personal, non-commercial use only.

2.2 Ownership: Grand Papa G (and/or its licensors) retains all intellectual property rights to the Site and our content, including (without limitation) our stories, characters, artwork, illustrations, graphics, logos, and the unique rhythmic flow of our hand-adjusted narratives. All rights are reserved.

2.3 Restrictions: You must not:

  • Republish, sell, rent, or sub-license material from Grand Papa G.

  • Reproduce, duplicate, distribute, or share material for commercial purposes.

  • Upload, post, or otherwise make our content available to others outside your household (for example, in public groups, marketplaces, or file-sharing services).

  • Modify or create derivative works from our stories or illustrations, except for the personal enjoyment of the designated recipient child.

2.4 Personalization Accuracy: We personalize stories based on the name (and any other details) you provide. Please ensure spelling is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for personalization issues caused by incorrect information submitted by you.

3. Membership & Subscriptions

3.1 Account Responsibility: To access certain Services or memberships, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Billing: Membership fees (including the Mini-Flipbook Membership) are billed on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually) as described at checkout and/or in your account.

3.3 Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellations will apply to the next billing cycle. Cancellation will stop future billing, but you will retain access to membership content until the end of your current billing period (unless stated otherwise at checkout).

4. Payments and Refund Policy

4.1 Payment: All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processors. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information.

4.2 Digital Goods Refund Policy: Due to the digital and/or personalized nature of our products (PDFs, Kindle files, Flipbooks, and personalized stories), all sales are final. Once a digital product has been delivered or a personalization process has begun, we do not offer refunds, except as required by applicable consumer law.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the Site and Services for lawful purposes only. You are prohibited from:

  • Providing false information or impersonating others during the personalization process.

  • Using the Site in any way that may damage, disable, or impair our servers or networks.

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or other accounts.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Grand Papa G makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the Site or the information, content, or materials included therein. To the full extent permissible by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

Grand Papa G is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or Services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data or profit arising from the use or inability to use the materials on this Site.
